This is the Sutty tire pump supplied with early model MGA. It is identified by the fold-out heavy wire feet and the word SUTTY cast in raised lettering on the bottom. Note position of the hose connector coming out the side straight up.

I believe the wire feet have been re-assembled upside down, and
the turned up loops should be turned down (like the upper photos).

The hose base fitting at left is correct as original.
